National Grid's Investment Recovery & Recycling Services Department is your source for accessing and purchasing any of the surplus idle assets of National Grid. As a major public utility in the Northeastern United States, National Grid purchases new assets for use in company operations while delivering electric and gas to millions of people. The ongoing operations utilize significant resources. Company assets such as materials, equipment, vehicles, and tools are constantly being updated and/or replaced. In addition, surplus materials may be a result of our utility simply changing specifications, and we no longer require these materials. As a result, revolving inventories of Overhead Transmission & Distribution Materials, Contractor Tools, Supplies & Equipment, Underground Transmission & Distribution Materials, Street Lighting Materials & Work Area Protection Materials are always available. These products can be purchased by you at less than replacement cost.
